Temperature controlled wine cabinets, which can hold from a few dozen up to several hundred bottles can cost from a few hundred dollars up to many thousands of dollars. They come in a variety of styles ranging from Victorian oak to sleek glass and steel and many are stylish enough to sit smartly in your dining room. If you base your choice on storage capacity be aware that some manufacturers make their units appear to hold more bottles by making the racks smaller. These racks won’t fit Champagnes, Rhônes, or even some chardonnays. Also, be careful about bottle counts.
